Born into a horse family, 43-year-old Rodrigo is a true horseman with a strong connection to the Lusitano horse culture – his family has been breeding Pure Lusitano horses for 3 generations. 

Rodrigo is known for his unmatched talent in training and understanding horses. His focus in the international dressage ring has shown with success on several horses at the Grand Prix level.

 

Rodrigo made his presence known to the world with his spectacular performance in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games with Fogoso Campline. They ended their Olympic debut with a personal best score of 78.943% in the Kur – the highest score of a Lusitano ever in Olympic history.
